It’s been too long, and I’m going to start this up again. I think it’s the easiest way for me to let people know what I’ve been doing!

In a nutshell, we’ve been to these places in the last 6 months or so:

Helsinki, Finland visiting some friends
Berlin, Germany
Wengen, Switzerland for Christmas
Reykjavik, Iceland with a group of friends from London
Tralee, Ireland for a weekend spent with the Irish relatives - a LOT of fun!
Rome, Italy for Easter (and yes, saw the Pope, but didn’t understand a word he said!)
Belfast, Northern Ireland
Paris, France (DISNEYLAND!! Oh, and the Louvre. . . )

Enjoyed them all, and each one was completely different than the last. I think for me, the highlights would definitely include Berlin (fantastic city, such an amazing vibe, and the people were really friendly. Even though it was sleeting while doing a 3 hour long walking tour, we had an absolute ball) and Iceland (the Northern Lights were unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my life, and the night life of Reykjavik was so unconventional that is was fascinating! People didn’t head out from home until after 1am! Loved it).

I’ve also started a new job in the last 3 months, I’m now working at LK Bennett (known for their shoes & bags, and am already making the most of my lucrative discount!) and I feel like I’ve already settled in. And in case you thought we were getting slack with too much time on our hands, we're moving next week. Same area really, just a nicer, bigger place. It’s definitely been a busy couple of months, but it has been really fun. Now all we need is some sun, god willing, and we can hopefully have our first ‘hot’ Summer!
